Elizabeth Flockhart
Director / Trustee and Audit Committee Chair
Appointed in August 2024 by the Secretary of State for the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ)
Liz is a Chartered Accountant, who then spent 20 years in the asset management business, working for Martin Currie and abrdn plc (previously Standard Life plc).
She has experience as a fund manager and in overseeing large and complex assets.
Effective from mid-January 2026, Liz is a board member of Pembroke VCT. Liz is also Audit Chair designate with Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust and is a non-executive director with a large charity and is a school governor.
